Mississippi River Green Team members take care of our river and parks, learn job skills, explore environmental careers, and earn money!

Examples of Works:

Turtle nesting site maintenance
Plant trees, prairies & rain gardens
Clean up the environment
Monitor wildlife habitat
Remove invasive plants
Monitor dragonflies

Program Details:

9-week summer program; M-Th
Monthly workdays during the school year
Each applicant will be interviewed
Up to two-years employment possible
Positions are limited
Meeting location: Mississippi Watershed Management Organization

Looking for youth who are:

a resident of Minneapolis
14–16 years old
able to work for the entire summer
