Internship Program — General Info
MWMO interns work with staff and partner organizations to implement MWMO programs in nonpoint source pollution prevention, source water protection, integrated water resource planning and outreach and education. Interns work 20-40 hours per week. For more details, see the general intern position description.
Specific internship opportunities will be listed in the “Employment” section above. The MWMO also accepts applications for internships on an ongoing basis. When an internship opportunity becomes available, MWMO staff will review your application and consider you for the position. Applications will be kept on file for one year from the date received.
Please complete and submit your MWMO Employment Application Form.

My time as an MWMO intern solidified my direction of study, which is in water resource management. I gained a diverse skill set and expanded my knowledge base about everything water-related. I feel that this internship was the best thing that I could have done for my future career goals. I am confident in my studies, and bring all the experiences I had at MWMO with me wherever I go.
