Minnesota Plants in Sculptural Crochet Class
Monday, June 6, 2016 at 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We’ve put down roots in Minnesota for different reasons – family, job, amazing arts community, and the natural beauty of the landscape. As a fiber enthusiast or adventurous crocheter, you can show your appreciation of this great state and it’s plants.
One of the best things about crochet is that it is freeform, by nature. This is because one loop is drawn through at a time, which gives a crocheter the opportunity to work in any direction! Learn how to crochet in a freeform and sculptural style and then learn about how to create naturally styled plants and flowers inspired by the Minnesotan grasslands! Materials fee $10, payable to the instructor or bring your own supplies. Download supply list.

This class was specially designed to compliment the evolving exhibition of Putting Down Roots at the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization.
