MINNEAPOLIS —The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization invites the public to a family-friendly evening of cookies and canoeing on the Mississippi River on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) announced today that it has been awarded $800,000 from the Minnesota Board of Soil and Water Resources (BWSR) to address water quality and flooding issues in Northeast Minneapolis.

By becoming trained and certified as Master Water Stewards, they have dreamed up, created and installed projects beyond what they thought possible.

MINNEAPOLIS — On Sept. 9, Thomas Edison High School in Northeast Minneapolis will celebrate its transformation into a first-of-its-kind “Green Campus,” featuring state-of-the-art stormwater and energy-efficiency measures that together create an outdoor environmental laboratory.
