The MWMO has moved! The MWMO has moved to its new facility at 2522 Marshall Street NE. Although the staff will be housed there, the building will not officially open until very late January or early February. An official grand opening will be held in the spring; watch for that date! The MWMO is seeking a Communications and Education Manager; please click on the following link to see position requirements and a position description: Communications and Education Manager Funds Available for Community-Initiated Water Quality Projects! Applications due February 1, 2012. The Stewardship Fund Program awards Mini, Planning and Action Grants for projects that raise awareness about and improve water quality in the MWMO watershed. Applications due Wednesday, February 1, 2012, by 3 pm for Mini and Planing Grants. More Information Brand new! Most of it ends up in our lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands. As a result, clean water in the Twin Cities is in jeopardy. Watch this new video, Improved Winter Maintenance: Good Choices for Clean Water to learn a few easy things about tools, techniques and products that you can use to keep your driveways and sidewalks safe AND protect our waters. The MWMO is looking for members of the community to serve on the Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC). This group serves at the request of the MWMO's Board of Commissioners and assists the MWMO in the annual budget process, reviewing Stewardship Fund grant proposals, and watershed planning.
